Here we have a BRAND NEW leather leg sheath designed for the Fairbairn Sykes double edge commando knives with 7" blades.
The black leather leg sheath (the leather tabs on the side of the sheath were designed to be sewn to a pant leg) is metal-tipped to protect both the wearer and the blade's tip, and it also has a pair of 2-1/2" belt slots -- the slots will fit most belts up to 2" wide, allowing for the thickness of the belt itself. This sheath with knife can also easily be stowed under a belt or be sewn to a pair of pants as they were by the Commandos during WWII. The overall length of this sheath is just under 13.5".   These genuine leather sheaths are made by John Nowill & Sons in Sheffield, England.
