    Description

Up for bid is this instructional "poster" by H.P. Hood & Sons directed at ice cream dealers during World War II.  As per text in the poster, demand for ice cream was trending upward during the war due to the scarcity of the product.  It was suggested to replace the ice cream with sherbet to meet the demand with the added benefit of cost effectiveness.  Included in the poster are 20 colorfully illustrated frappes, sundaes, and sodas with their accompanying recipes using sherbet instead of the traditional ice cream.  This item measures approximately 21 3/4 by 16 1/2 inches fully opened and about 8 3/4 by 5 1/2 inches when folded back to its' original state.  The poster shows minor handling wear and is in very good pre-owned condition for its' age.
Payment is expected within three days of close of auction.  Please contact me with any questions prior to bidding.  Thank you for looking and good luck bidding!
