You're bidding on an antique stereoview card - "Pack Mules Of The Mountains" - #4566 of the "Yellowstone Park Series" set by photographer Frank Jay Haynes. The scene depicts two loaded up mules in the yard, with mountains in the background. Some very subtle yellow hand coloration to the mules' blankets. Haynes is perhaps the best known early Western photographer. In the early 1880s, he began photographing Yellowstone, and his work became so popular that he was invited to set up a studio within the park as its quasi-official photographer, a business that would last past his death in 1921 and operate as a family enterprise into the 1960s.
